easyStorage Finalists in Two Categories of the BFA Awards

We are delighted to announce that easyStorage has been shortlisted in the Digital Transformation and the Emerging Franchisor categories of the bfa HSBC British Franchise Awards.

They've summed up what we do here quite nicely so we thought we would share...

easyStorage is a member of the easy family of brands, offering the no-frills approach to storage. Unlike traditional self-storage, they bring easyPods to the customer’s door. This provides 2 key advantages over traditional self-storage, it’s more convenient and it costs less too. They load items there and then, close the easyPods using security seals and take them to an easyStorage secure storage facility.

bfa HSBC British Franchise Awards: we are finalists

Known as the ‘Oscars’ of the franchising industry and set to take place on 24 November in Birmingham, the bfa HSBC British Franchise Awards evening is the flagship event in the franchising calendar and finalists are definitely ones to watch.

This year saw a record number of entries submitted across all categories, leading to an overall increase versus 2021. Despite what continues to be challenging times for most independent businesses, the franchising sector has shown strength and resilience. As a result, many bfa members have reported strong financial performance and continue to build strong, healthy networks.

easyStorage will be battling it out against two other franchise brands in each category to take home the coveted Emerging Franchisor and Digital Transformation accolades in November.

Digital Transformation Award

The Digital Transformation category has been introduced to represent the huge advancements that have taken place in recent years and showcase the very best examples of what getting this right can do. All finalists have made significant investment, looked beyond market options and progressed with development to identify, build and implement market leading technology.

Emerging Franchisor Award

Becoming a finalist in this category is recognition of the strong foundations and leadership needed in the build and growth phase of any brand and business journey. Finalists have shown a real passion for their brand and their people.

5 Tips in Creating a Workspace in Your Small Apartment

Dedicating a workspace or a home office should be equally valuable as any part of your apartment whether this is for a remote job or line of work is something that can be done at the comfort of your own home. More often than not, we tend to put this last on our list as sometimes we resort to our bedroom or living room as our go-to workspace. But hey, who doesn’t want working at the comfort of your bed with your PJs on while reviewing your business report? Think again. According to Harvard Business Review’s Guide to Being More Productive, “Unless you are careful to maintain boundaries, you may start to feel like you’re always at work and losing a place to come home to.” Working and sleeping in the same area is not a good idea as you tend to lose your work-life balance, which eventually will lead you to stress and being burnt out from work and feels like you don’t have a life anymore.
