With Love From easyStorage

So what and who do we love at easyStorage?

1.       Our customers

Of course we’re sending all the love in the universe out to our customers. Without them we wouldn’t be here. From the private customer to the business one, they all have a story.

Special love and thanks go out to those who’ve left us TrustPilot reviews.

We’ve even got some special heart- shaped surprises for our customers who are using us this Valentines day!

2.       Our colleagues

easyStorage is genuinely a great place to work, and great people to work for. Internally, we often refer to it as a ‘family’. With a single purpose, providing great value storage, we’re probably a good deal less dysfunctional than most families, and a little more like an ad exec’s version.

So here’s sending the love to our employees and our franchisees and their teams.

If course, if you want to join us:

·         Our current vacancies can be found here: Jobs

·         We have a few franchises left in England and Wales: About easyStorage Franchises

·         What franchise have provided more details on the realities of easyStorage franchises

3.       Our easyVans

Our bespoke vans are an invaluable tool in delivering our business. Made so that our easyPods fit perfectly, they are bright orange rays of sunshine.

If you see one, give them a wave.

(They all, by the way, have names. It’s a tradition to call them after the first customer they serve.)

Not to mention our vans are award-winning levels of excellent receiving recognition at IVECO UK’s Daily Mission Awards. We came home with two awards: surpassing our fellow delivery vehicles and were named the overall inaugural Daily Mission Awards champions!

Commenting on the double-win, easyStorage CEO, Tim Slesinger said, “Our award wins represent the culmination of a pioneering four-year collaboration between easyStorage, Tekbo and of course IVECO. It’s the result of great teamwork that we have managed to develop a vehicle that has not only helped to disrupt the self-storage market but has also enabled us to deliver on our Corporate Social Responsibilities within all our local communities”.

4.       Our partners

We have an affiliate programme which is absolutely a ‘two way street’. For example, we work with GWS, a co-working space, to help their customers, and often our affiliates will add value for our customers – for example this guest blog: decluttering to destress.

5.       Helping people (forgot that gift?)

Helping people comes as second nature to our franchisees and services teams across the board, but did you come here looking for a last minute Valentine’s gift?

Grab a pen and paper create a little booklet of vouchers to help your partner declutter their home, move house, downsize, tidy up: whatever it is that’s an issue for them, a promise to help with sorting, moving, tidying in the form of vouchers for redemption, and a last minute storage space booking via our website (available 24/7)  will look like an incredibly thoughtful gift, and be the gift that keeps on giving. A 2017 study by Hsin-Hsuan Meg Lee,"In Pursuit of Happiness: Phenomenological Study of the Konmari Decluttering Method", showed that decluttering and maintain order can, indeed, lead to happiness.

And you’ll keep getting brownie points for the support you’re giving!

However you’re spending Valentine’s Day, celebrating or hiding away, may we wish you every happiness.

Why consider a small space rather than the big ones?

With everything becoming expensive nowadays, it is very important to become more resourceful, efficient, and practical, especially with your spending attitude. We don’t want to end up being tied up in debts just to keep with our wants over our needs. A shelter (house, studio, apartment, etc.), for example, is considered as a need for a person to survive. It’s only fair that we spend a chunk of our budget on it but it doesn’t mean we should get spaces that are beyond our budget capability. There are lots of available "small" spaces that are within our budget and can still sustain our need for shelter. We only have to be creative in maximising these spaces. Discover the gems hidden in living in small spaces.
