Welcome Aboard, Anneshia Hyatt, easyStorage Storage Solution Specialist

When Anneshia came for her interview with easyStorage, she knew straight off that this was the job she really wanted. And interviewers Sandra Whitsitt (Sales Manager) and Storage Solutions Specialist Sonia fortunately felt the same way.

They were attracted by Anneshia’s bubbly character and share a love of travel with her. Her travels have taken her places from Prague to Paris, to the Bahamas and to Jamaica. Indeed, Jamaica sounds like a second home. Not only did she get married there in 2018 (in the Hope Botanical Gardens in Kingston), but her husband has a successful sandal making business there. (No excuses for being anything other than perfectly shod in the summer!)

Whilst she stayed at the Hyatt Hotel there for her honeymoon, she has no Hyatt related history.  (Hyatt Hotels were named after an early hotel acquisition by two entrepreneurs.) She and her family – her three children went with them – even swam with dolphins. It sounds idyllic.

Anneshia joins easyStorage from Express Clinics, right at the frontline of COVID testing for travellers. Her busy role meant handling bookings, admin and ensuring that pharmacies were never out of stock.

She’s one of the unsung heroes of these strange COVID times, having joined them from NHS ‘Test and Trace’, letting people know if they had been in contact with COVID and offering advice on what to do in case of testing positive.

As her previous role was with bookmaker William Hill, her new role at easyStorage helping find people the right storage at the right price at the right time will seem a lot less contentious!

She’s joined the company full time, and as her husband also works full time, the children are looked after by her best friend, her mum! She concedes that whilst mum is firm with them, she also spoils them the way that only grandparents can. This must be great for the youngest, aged three, who is also spoiled by her older brother (14), whilst her older sister (11) is like a second mother to her!

There’s another family member we haven’t yet mentioned: the dog. A mixed Pomeranian- Shih Tzu, the dog keeps things nicely under control, making sure that the children both behave and are safe. Being small, she often spots risks and dangers before most humans.

Anneshia clearly has great family relationships and talking to her it’s easy to understand why she’s great for this role: she’s both grounded and bubbly, and clearly incredibly capable.

She already has been helping customers who have been leaving raving five star reviews on Trustpilot of which we now have over 2000! Darren was very pleased with his recent service and left the following review:

Very kind patient and very very friendly helpful staff answered all our questions and Richard and Steve done a great job doing the removal and Anneshia for helping and arranging everything over the phone.will definitely recommend thnx guys.

She joins the easyStorage family making up part of our great service team: if you call (0333 016 4341) or online to reserve self storage space with a difference, it may well be Anneshia who looks after you. I’m placing my bets that she’ll do it brilliantly. (See what I did there? William Hill…. Bets….I’ll get my coat!)

Benefits of a Work-from-Home Setup

From a businessman’s perspective, allowing your employees to work from home might be a big risk and must be taken into full comprehension. There are lots of advantages and disadvantages to consider before taking that big leap. Some managers are afraid of the thought of having their employees work from home because the productivity might be affected, especially if they will be monitored less or if they will not be in a normal office setting. Some employees might take advantage of working remotely and might do non-work related activities while waiting for emails, instructions, etc. However, in our digital age, every businessman should be more open to modern business strategies, especially now that some businesses are being run, monitored, and managed through the internet. Working from home is a setup that can fit into the modernised world. If you are running a small business with small office space or if you want to already give up that office space, this is a perfect idea that you might want to consider. This is a win-win setup that can be beneficial for both employers and employees.
