The eight reasons that easyStorage is your best option for self-storage

They’re in our DNA, and have been from the outset. And we hope that they’ll help us achieve our own ambition: to become the go-to self-storage company in the UK.

1. Price: Great Value for Money

We’re not shy about it. Storage is a price driven utility. easyStorage offers cheap self-storage, about half of the price of traditional self-storage.

As an aside, it goes against the grain knocking our competition – we are strong enough in our own right not to need to. However, if you can find something cheaper near where you live claiming to be professional self-storage, you should probably be looking closely asking what the catch is. Unless they are cutting corners somewhere, they may not be sustainable financially. If they fold, whilst your goods are probably safe, they may well not be released until a company that goes into liquidation is sorted out.

A few companies have dominated self-storage in the UK for a while.

They would have you believe that you need 24/7 access to your belongings. We challenge this notion. Data shows that we can usually tell when we’ll need access to our goods, and when we do, easyStorage will bring them back to you. No need for van hire or blagging favours from friends.

That constant need for access and wasted space in expensive prime locations needs to be paid for by their customers.

In the US, our type of self storage, mobile storage, is cheap enough to mean that people can use storage on an ongoing basis. And that’s what we’re aiming for!

Everything we do is driven by the data telling us what our customers need. Sometimes that’s hard – people are sometimes lead to believe they need something they don’t, and it can be hard to shift that belief.

Airline travel, for example, used to be expensive. It was a combination of luxury seats, meals and drinks at your seat, a heavy suitcase (or trunk!) allowance, and pre-arranged boarding plans. Thus it is with storage. Through our innovative business model, we have been able to drive the cost of storage right down. We have invested in technology that allows us to cut out waste, focussing on the things that matter.

We don’t pretend to be perfect. If we make mistakes we sort it out, and we aim to improve constantly, especially as technologies enable more and our services expand.
