Meet Aarti and Sonia!

easyStorage works on a franchise basis. Customers are looked after on a day to day basis by someone with a vested interest in making their easyStorage operation a long term success. We believe that this financial investment results in great service for our customers – and now they have an extra two people to back them up.

Sonia Arjan and Aarti Thakur have just joined the easyStorage family. These two human dynamos are now part of the team that ensures that online easyStorage orders are well handled. They also offer support to business customers with storage around the country, who simply want one point of contact.

Confident and dynamic, Sonia Arjan joined us this month from Heathrow Express (a premium airport train service). She had been there eight years, helping both existing and new customers with Heathrow Express products. Due to Heathrow’s truly international customer base, she has met and interacted with people from all around the World, from all kinds of cultures. Sonia brings some great experience to the customer service desk: despite having only joined the team recently, she’s already trained and ready to hit the phones.

Living in Hillingdon, Sonia will be working from the Hanger Lane branch. When away from the bustling office, she enjoys taking long walks, spending quality time with friends and family, and baking cakes with her hyperactive four-year old son.

Also joining us from Heathrow Express is Aarti Thakur, who declares herself ‘a super foodie and a chocoholic’. The rest of the team is now waiting for an invitation to dinner, and have all suddenly hidden their office chocolate stashes.  (We can’t help thinking it’s probably a good thing that she’s not based in the same office as cake-making Sonia!)

Aarti will specialise in serving business customers. She is based at the easyStorage head office at Hanger Lane and will probably be the first voice most people hear when calling in, so do say hello. Your business needs are in safe hands – Aarti has more than 13 years sales and customer service experience working with business customers and so really understands customers’ need for friendliness and efficiency. (Just over ten of those were with Heathrow Express.)

Aarti has the travel bug and loves exploring different parts of the world to experience new cultures. But when she’s not working or trotting the globe (or chomping chocolate, although on this one we believe she can multi-task!) Aarti’s hobbies include interior designing and event planning. She joined the team on a Monday, was already taking bookings on the Tuesday, and on the Wednesday beat her colleagues to the highest number of bookings for customer storage. They claim it was beginner’s luck. We’re confident that she’s just set the bar high!

The easyStorage Sales & Customer Service Team continues to build and develop and we are now looking for the next person to join. We have had some great candidates apply, so we look forward to welcoming our next new team member soon.

We are continually innovating at easyStorage, constantly trying to make things better for our customers. As we go from strength to strength, we expect these two new customer service professionals to make a positive contribution and allow us to do even more.

Right now that means a lot of changes. Change is often a challenge for people, but our easyStorage teams thrive on constant improvement, so we hope you’ll join us in welcoming both new staff members as a valuable resource for both our customers and franchisees alike.
