If easyStorage was an Easter egg….

So when it fell to me to wish our blog readers a Happy Easter, it was to this game that I turned. Easter is a primarily religious festival, although a few pagan traditions still hang on, and it’s from these that we end up with Easter eggs. And very delicious they are too!

So, if easyStorage was an Easter egg, which one would it be?

I decided upon a Cadbury’s crème egg. Here’s my EGGciting blog to explain why!

Some eggs are a whole lot bigger, have beautiful wrapping, but are hollow. (Great for me, as my hips really don’t need more!) That’s definitely not us. We do what we say ‘on the can’ - storage, with a whole lot of extra value, not a whole raft of extra unneeded space.

I thought about a Thornton’s egg. What a lovely luxury. But whilst easyStorage offers a fabulous service, it’s cheap, everyday storage, not a luxury.

Other eggs have to be opened before you can see what’s inside, and the treat rattles around. Lovely, but again, lots of empty space. Just not us.

If someone’s buying Faberge eggs, amazing! But, of course, this is luxury at its utmost, and we, like all easy brands, are simple. (I quite like the idea of a Faberge decorated easyVan though!)

I was tempted to settle for a heart-shaped chocolate, because what we do is delivered with love, but it really fell a bit off brief – apart from being just a little too slushy.

No, the humble crème egg won the day.

Small, but perfectly formed.

You know what you’re going to get from the outset – great quality, consistent product, well priced for what you’re getting.

They’re not to everyone’s taste, but those who have them generally love them – and often want to go back for more. (Well I do, anyway.)

Their price means they bring eggs to the masses as an everyday treat – eggs for the rest of us.

And they come from a reliable brand, Cadburys (whilst we’re part of the easy group of brands).

And to top it off, the orange centre is almost our easyOrange colour.

So, yes, I think an easyEgg would definitely look like a Cadburys crème egg. And on that thought, I’m off to my local Sainsburys to grab one. (Other supermarkets are available!)

Traditional Storage Vs. easyStorage: Which One is Better

As Hassan Fathy once said, tradition is the social equivalent of personal habits. Habit, comfort zone, belief – these are just some of the words we can associate with the word "tradition." It is something that has been part of our lives that is so difficult to get rid of. Being open to innovation is hard for people who do not welcome the idea of getting out of their comfort zone. The hassle and inconvenience of learning new things are some of the reasons why people do not accept change. However, change is the only permanent thing in the world. We do not have a choice but to keep up with it. Else, we will be left behind.
