Goal! easyStorage Thames Valley Wins Hearts with Charity Move

Husband and wife team, Alex and Emma Glass, of easyStorage Thames Valley, have scored highly with Oxford United FC (OUFC).

The football team’s official charity project, Oxford United in the Community relocated both its office and its sporting equipment to the football club in Horspath. On Friday October 23, the Thames Valley easyStorage team arrived to help the move, even bringing oranges for halftime.

Oxford United in the Community helps inspire people to achieve their potential and improve their health and wellbeing via the power of football. Last year it engaged with more than 5,000 people in Oxfordshire.

The Glasses undertook the move for free as part of easyStorage Thames Valley’s community/charity contribution. Alex coaches a children's basketball team in Thame, so he understands the hard work that goes into grass roots sports, and how a little extra help can make a huge difference.

Christopher Lowes, the Head of Oxford United in the Community, said that easyStorage team made the move a whole lot quicker and easier, without diverting any funds away from their social impact work in our community.

easyStorage Thames Valley provides a ‘collect, store and return’ service. Unlike traditional self-storage, they bring easyPods to their customers for items to be loaded into. They are transported in a huge, hard to miss van in bright easy brand orange. Their packaging and moving experience, along with the van, were invaluable to the charity.

The Glasses got to meet the football club’s coaches, and thoroughly enjoyed helping out the football team. We think they’re a winning business team: well done easyStorage Thames Valley.

easyStorage brings self-storage to the BBC (Bristol, Bath and Cheltenham) area

When easyStorage first started, and the franchise areas were being calculated (each has a minimum number of households to care for), it was almost inevitable that inevitable that ‘BBC’ would stick for the Bristol, Bath and Cheltenham area. They also offer self-storage in Gloucester, Weston-Super-Mare, and everywhere in between, but let’s not stand in the way of a great title!

Self-Storage comes to Hertford

Meet the pair determined to bring better service and better value to self-storage in the Hertfordshire area. The easyStorage model means that the vans come to customers, pick up their belongings and take them off for safe storage. easyStorage can even help customers pack. And all for about half the price of traditional self storage.
