easyStorage’s TrustPilot Reviews Reach 1000

“Easy, quick and reliable.
They came in earlier than arranged time which was ideal given that nobody wants the room filled with boxes!
The process was super quick and simple and highly recommend to anybody considering!”

The words above from the person we believe to be reviewer number 1000 in mid-July (a 5-star review!).

easyStorage is rightly proud of the teams that head out to serve customers every day. They’re a compassionate lot who understand that if people are putting things into storage, it’s because they have a value to them, often an emotional one. (We could all buy a new crystal vase, but replacing the one that Aunty Ethel gave our parents 40 years ago as a wedding present is a very different story.) It’s also often quoted that the three main reasons people want self-storage are divorce, death or disaster. It used to be truer - nowadays people use self-storage to help create space - but these are still some of the major reasons for storing, and everyone deserves a little empathy. Any kind of change or move can be really stressful.

The nice thing about TrustPilot is that you can see which reviews are genuinely customers (the validatedones), not competitors making mischief as has been known to happen, or people mistaking us for another company with a similar name, which has also been known to happen.

We’re not complaining about this. It’s part of online life. But it doesn’t serve potential customers reading the reviews, and with TrustPilot readers know we haven’t written the review ourselves (also known to happen!) Our company values are honesty and transparency, and we all do our best to live up to them. We are pretty much a family at easyStorage, and wouldn’t want to let down our colleagues. That’s a powerful bond.

The easyStorage teams are, of course, delighted with a current TrustPilot score of 4.8. Not that we’ll rest there. Whilst there’s room for improvement, our franchise teams are going for gold!

For example, we have a few more teams in new areas to add to our service. (Tease alert – watch this space to find out more.)

Our moving teams recently got together to discuss how we could improve customers service from their end.

And we have two new franchise managers in place to help our franchisees be the best that they can. (Second tease alert: watch this blog  for more information!)

We recently also added a way to order your packing boxes, whether storing with us or not.

Meanwhile, back with those reviews. Efficient, polite and hard-working, professional, friendly and positive…these are the words that run through our reviews like a stick of rock.

So we would like to say thank you to everyone who posts reviews for us. There is the odd that contains something negative. Whilst we all hate negative reviews, we also unashamedly learn from anything we can. For example, we have recently introduced a policy where we ALWAYS call in specialists move pianos.

To see so many positive comments is great for keeping up the morale of the easyStorage teams who move things. Their cheerfulness is regularly noted in reviews. It must, we feel, be the cheerful easyOrange in the easyStorage logo reflecting!

Traditional Storage Vs. easyStorage: Which One is Better

As Hassan Fathy once said, tradition is the social equivalent of personal habits. Habit, comfort zone, belief – these are just some of the words we can associate with the word "tradition." It is something that has been part of our lives that is so difficult to get rid of. Being open to innovation is hard for people who do not welcome the idea of getting out of their comfort zone. The hassle and inconvenience of learning new things are some of the reasons why people do not accept change. However, change is the only permanent thing in the world. We do not have a choice but to keep up with it. Else, we will be left behind.
