easyStorage partners up with Office Pantry to help City Harvest during the COVID-19 Emergency to rescue & deliver food to London's most vulnerable

I’m sure you’ll agree we are currently living through a period of uncertainty and the first thing I want to say on behalf of myself and everyone at easyStorage is our thoughts are with everyone.

COVID-19 has had a dramatic affect on all our lives, however with the stance of the government, tireless work of NHS workers and support from the community we are confident strides are being made for a healthier future.

Like many of you, we are trying to do what we can to help our community navigate this challenging time. After deciding to suspend operations we were invited by Office Pantry, who supply us with fresh fruit. Rather than cancel our contract with them, instead, to donate our weekly supplies to City Harvest. We gladly agreed! In keeping with our commitment to support our clients through this difficult time and support to the community.

City Harvest are surplus food redistribution charity and are currently working overtime to deliver food to charity partners across London. They do a fantastic job in serving thousands of vulnerable Londoners, and since the outbreak of COVID-19 they have seen the need for their services skyrocket. With our contribution via Office Pantry we hope they can continue servicing the community.

Make sure to read more about their mission on http://www.cityharvest.org.uk and more about the wonderful food supplies we use in www.officepantry.co.uk

Be sure to follow us for the latest news and updates. We wish you the best and look forward to better times.

5 Tips in Creating a Workspace in Your Small Apartment

Dedicating a workspace or a home office should be equally valuable as any part of your apartment whether this is for a remote job or line of work is something that can be done at the comfort of your own home. More often than not, we tend to put this last on our list as sometimes we resort to our bedroom or living room as our go-to workspace. But hey, who doesn’t want working at the comfort of your bed with your PJs on while reviewing your business report? Think again. According to Harvard Business Review’s Guide to Being More Productive, “Unless you are careful to maintain boundaries, you may start to feel like you’re always at work and losing a place to come home to.” Working and sleeping in the same area is not a good idea as you tend to lose your work-life balance, which eventually will lead you to stress and being burnt out from work and feels like you don’t have a life anymore.
