easyStorage launches in the Netherlands with plans for a Major European Expansion

easyStorage, part of the iconic “easy” family of brands, today announces its European expansion with the launch of operations in The Netherlands in partnership with Minerva Development and Storage Share.

The move marks a major milestone for easyStorage, one of Europe’s fastest-growing self-storage companies. With over 70 storage locations in the UK, the company is now bringing its affordable, convenient, and tech-enabled storage solution to the Dutch market through a powerful joint venture.

The Dutch operation launches today with the rebrand of the first eight high-quality self-storage locations of a current total of 59 self-storage sites to easyStorage over the coming months. The new website – www.easystorage.nl – is now live, offering Dutch customers a modern and hassle-free self-storage experience.

The international expansion is spearheaded by Tim Slesinger (CEO) and Nigel Dawson (COO) of easyStorage UK, and Minerva Development partners Philip van der Stam, Rob de Groot, and Irene Vasseur, in collaboration with the Netherlands established self-storage brand Storage Share (co-founders Julian Doorten and Niels van Eck).

“This is a transformational moment for easyStorage,” said Tim Slesinger, CEO of easyStorage UK. “We are thrilled to be working with the Minerva and Storage Share teams – they are a fantastic fit for the brand, combining deep local knowledge with a shared commitment to customer-focused innovation.”

Minerva Development is a leading Dutch real estate development and investment company with a strong track record in managing and developing mixed-use and logistics assets across the Netherlands. Their expertise in real estate, execution power and commitment to sustainable, high-quality developments make them the ideal partner for scaling the easyStorage brand across Europe.

“We are incredibly proud to be bringing easyStorage to the Dutch market,” said Irene Vasseur, co-founder of Minerva Development. “This partnership combines the strength of an iconic international brand with our local knowledge and footprint. We believe Dutch customers will embrace the simplicity, affordability and service quality that easyStorage offers.”

Founded by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, the easy family of brands – including easyJet, easyHotel and easyStorage – has built its reputation on challenging traditional industries by making services more accessible and affordable.

“I’m delighted to see easyStorage go international after such an incredibly strong start in the UK” said Sir Stelios. “This is exactly what the ‘easy’ brand is all about – taking a complicated or expensive product and making it simple and affordable for everyone. I wish our Dutch partners every success in this exciting new chapter.”

With its tech-enabled unmanned self-storage model and rapidly expanding footprint, easyStorage continues to disrupt the traditional self-storage market. The move into The Netherlands represents the first phase of a wider European expansion plan aimed at making easyStorage “the go-to brand for storage” across the continent.

5 Tips in Creating a Workspace in Your Small Apartment

Dedicating a workspace or a home office should be equally valuable as any part of your apartment whether this is for a remote job or line of work is something that can be done at the comfort of your own home. More often than not, we tend to put this last on our list as sometimes we resort to our bedroom or living room as our go-to workspace. But hey, who doesn’t want working at the comfort of your bed with your PJs on while reviewing your business report? Think again. According to Harvard Business Review’s Guide to Being More Productive, “Unless you are careful to maintain boundaries, you may start to feel like you’re always at work and losing a place to come home to.” Working and sleeping in the same area is not a good idea as you tend to lose your work-life balance, which eventually will lead you to stress and being burnt out from work and feels like you don’t have a life anymore.
