easyStorage Essex Client Stories: Goodbyes, Hassle-Free Removals, and New Business

One of our favourite things at easyStorage Essex is meeting our customers and hearing their stories. Some people we only meet once, they don’t need to access the pods while in storage and when we return the items we might have a different crew on the lorry. Then we have our regulars, who we meet when they go into storage and visit us more than once to add or remove items from their pods.

Goodbye to packing & removal customer Alex

This week we said goodbye to Alex, who we packed up last Summer on the 37th floor of a Stratford Tower Block. We got to know her well, she needed our “full packing and removal service” from her desk to tea spoons and from bookcase to Christmas Tree, we packed it all. She told us all about her exciting plans to go travelling. We also met Alex and her dad when they turned up in November to get her winter clothes. They made a couple of visits to us and steadily took more out of her pod. This week we returned everything to her new house and we are feeling like we lost a friend. She was kind enough to leave this feedback on Trustpilot.

A not so good removal service

We bid farewell to a valued client who recently opted to empty their two pods into a rented Luton van. While we do offer the flexibility for clients to deliver and store their items themselves, and pick them up later, we would like to stress that our professional and punctual service comes with a cheerful attitude. Unfortunately, the client had a negative experience as the van hire company arrived two hours late and had to refuel along the way. We offer a hassle-free option where we carry your items into your house with a smile and have even labelled our van with "EASY" in bold letters to emphasise this point. It's essential to consider all aspects, including time and convenience, before deciding whether you're saving money by doing it yourself. Our return of both pods for a fee of £199.00 is a competitive offer, and we encourage clients to opt for our full-service moving experience.

A short notice storage & removal

We had the pleasure of working with Wandee, a recent client whose collection we found intriguing and expect to see at our warehouse in the future. Despite the short notice, we managed to complete the move from her flat and shop within two hours before she had to return the keys. A few days later, we helped her empty her "Self Storage Unit." At our warehouse, we carefully repacked her belongings to ensure that she uses the minimum number of pods. Wandee was pleased with our services and provided us with valuable feedback. We're excited to have her and Lee visit our warehouse as she rebuilds her business, like we've helped many businesses before.

To us it doesn’t matter if it is last minute or a carefully planned move with full packing service, your items are important to you and will be looked after by us. You are important to us, we only have a business if we look after each and every person as if it were our own possessions going into storage.

Traditional Storage Vs. easyStorage: Which One is Better

As Hassan Fathy once said, tradition is the social equivalent of personal habits. Habit, comfort zone, belief – these are just some of the words we can associate with the word "tradition." It is something that has been part of our lives that is so difficult to get rid of. Being open to innovation is hard for people who do not welcome the idea of getting out of their comfort zone. The hassle and inconvenience of learning new things are some of the reasons why people do not accept change. However, change is the only permanent thing in the world. We do not have a choice but to keep up with it. Else, we will be left behind.
