easyStorage brings you a Discount on Housekeep

We’ve offered advice on decluttering from specialist Chloe Jessamy from Clutter Cutdown.

So do you now want help cleaning the lovely space you’ve created? Or the mess you left when moving or packing?

easyStorage has a possible answer, depending upon where you live. The company has teamed up with the nice (clean!) folk at Housekeep to offer easyStorage fans a discount on their cleaning services.

We’re big fans of humane decluttering, so Housekeep is a natural extension of what we do. They help people find trusted, experienced house cleaners in the London and Brighton area.

Their house keepers have been interviewed in-person, background-checked and rated 5-stars by their customers before they join Housekeep. They not only clean, but can also help with household chores including laundry and ironing. Some people book as a one-off big spring clean, others book regularly. If booked regularly, Housekeep sends the same person to clean each time (usually every week or fortnight) and can even hold keys.

If easyStorage sends you to Housekeep, you’ll get 33% off (yes, a third!) the first three weekly or fortnightly cleans that you book. (Please note that their discounts are only offered against recurring bookings, and not one-offs.)

There’s no time limit on making your bookings, which, like easyStorage, can all be done online.

Housekeep is only available in London and Brighton at the moment, but we’re sure that will change soon. Who couldn’t do with a bit of help around the house? (Me, for starters!)

Traditional Storage Vs. easyStorage: Which One is Better

As Hassan Fathy once said, tradition is the social equivalent of personal habits. Habit, comfort zone, belief – these are just some of the words we can associate with the word "tradition." It is something that has been part of our lives that is so difficult to get rid of. Being open to innovation is hard for people who do not welcome the idea of getting out of their comfort zone. The hassle and inconvenience of learning new things are some of the reasons why people do not accept change. However, change is the only permanent thing in the world. We do not have a choice but to keep up with it. Else, we will be left behind.
