1. Store what you like!

2. Poor Security

Most modern facilities have security measures such as alarms and monitors – more than people’s homes.

The weakest points are always where people access. In a home, that’s a lot of people on a daily or weekly basis. With self-storage, items are out of sight and held securely.

But the more traditional reasons for using storage units in the UK are, sadly, deaths, divorces, or disasters.

However, life is changing, especially now that COVID has its hold. Many people are creating office spaces in their homes as they move to home or hybrid home/office working. We have all learned the need to declutter. Still more of us are downsizing.

Reasons for storing are changing alongside. Increasingly storage is becoming a lifestyle choice. That allows people to rotate seasonal goods and clothes, make use of extra space whilst the children are at university, clear rooms for renting out…. 8. Signing Up Is a Hassle
