Callum Potter joins easyStorage as Sales Support Agent

Callum Potter’s claim to fame is that he was called Harry Potter before Harry Potter was – at least, that’s his middle name (named after his elder brother, and it’s stuck). And now he’s here at easyStorage, sprinkling a little magic for customers.

When people are in contact with the company via the website, either by speaking to an online agent about what they need or sending in a request form, he’s the man who makes sure it happens by passing that on to the appropriate person or referring them to the brand new self service support platform for customers: help.easyStorage.com.

In his first three months, he’s got to grips with the systems and organisation and he’s getting on well with the team, all of whom he finds really supportive.

Most people would find the hectic, fast paced environment demanding, but Callum joined easyStorage HQ in Uxbridge from a trampoline park, an environment that would make even the busiest of offices look calm. (Or maybe he just feels relaxed because easyStorage honoured his holiday commitments to go away during the first week of being with the company to Moraira, a beautiful small village on Spain’s Costa Blanca.)

He has a great sense of humour and laughs about not staying at QPR football club where he was scouted as a youngster and trained as a goalkeeper. The goals, he says, got higher, but he didn’t! Our win, your loss, QPR –a nice steady pair of hands to look after easyStorage customers.

(As an aside, he supports Manchester United football team, for which his work colleagues have forgiven him - mostly.)

Living in West Drayton, he still kicks a football around with friends, and is looking for a team to join. He has also participated in Ultra White Collar Boxing in Watford. It’s a form of boxing in which people in ‘white collar’ professions, usually without any boxing experience, train to fight at special events. He is looking forward to having another ‘bash’ for charity.

At home with parents, two cats and a dog named Tyson help complete Callum’s family. Tyson, despite the big beefy name, is a cute Chihuahua Shih Tzu cross.

Callum met his girlfriend at school in Harlington, and they are still together four years later. Today she is a carer for his disabled brother, who has dwarfism, a genetic condition that comes hand in hand with endless other related health issues.

Callum is, of course, looking forward to the day in the not too distant future when they can find a place of their own together. And we are looking forward to seeing the magic that our very own ‘Harry’ Potter puts into this key role ensuring easyStorage customers are looked after promptly by the right person.

Please join us in welcoming him to the easyStorage family.

Traditional Storage Vs. easyStorage: Which One is Better

As Hassan Fathy once said, tradition is the social equivalent of personal habits. Habit, comfort zone, belief – these are just some of the words we can associate with the word "tradition." It is something that has been part of our lives that is so difficult to get rid of. Being open to innovation is hard for people who do not welcome the idea of getting out of their comfort zone. The hassle and inconvenience of learning new things are some of the reasons why people do not accept change. However, change is the only permanent thing in the world. We do not have a choice but to keep up with it. Else, we will be left behind.
